Reeling in the Fun: Highlights from the VPG Company Fishing Trip

Just a few days before our annual VPG fishing trip, the forecast looked a little wild to say the least! But the weather turned just in time and we were treated to a perfect day on the water for a company tradition that never disappoints.
Team members cast off from multiple boats and to make things a little more exciting this year, we upped the stakes with a friendly competition: 10,000 VPG Bucks were on the line for the biggest catch of the day. Congratulations to Mr. Biggs, who lived up to his name by reeling in the largest fish and walking away with the grand prize!
While there weren’t any VPG Bucks awarded for the strangest catch, we had to mention the fact that Pam caught in a stingray! (And no, she didn’t keep it - don't worry.) She certainly gets bragging rights and a great fish story to tell.
Beyond the competition, the day was about enjoying time together, soaking in the sun, and appreciating the chance to connect outside of the office. A big thank you to everyone who set their alarms early and made the trip so memorable.
And the best part? Everyone who wanted to went home with fresh fish for dinner even if they didn't catch it themselves (we won't name names)!
Check out the photos below from the day. If you couldn’t make it this time, don’t worry - we’re already looking forward to next year’s trip and we’d love to have you onboard.
Congratulations to everyone who went home with VPG Bucks from the day!
Mr Biggs – 10,000 VPG bucks for the biggest fish caught
Mr Biggs, Anthony, and Danielle – 1000 VPG bucks each for the boat that caught the most fish
Mr Biggs, Jack, John, Shannon, Carlos – 2500 VPG bucks each for the biggest fish caught on each boat
