Meet them below:

🎈🎈 Eddie Symmonett

Director of Asset Management

Eddie joins VPG as our Director of Asset Management, a brand-new position for the VPGH team. Originally from The Bahamas and relocating to New Orleans from Birmingham, Alabama, Eddie brings nine years of experience in the real estate industry with a strong passion for the multifamily space. He recently earned his CPM certification and is currently pursuing his CCIM designation.

Fun facts: Eddie is currently learning Spanish, has been skydiving, plays guitar, trains in mixed martial arts, and enjoys both tennis and pickleball. His go-to meal is jerk chicken, his favorite snack is chocolate chip cookies, and he proudly cheers on the New Orleans Pelicans

🎈🎈 Matthew Gardner

Facilities Manager

Matthew joins VPG as our Facilities Manager, another new position for the company. Originally from Alexandria, Virginia, Matthew advanced into leadership roles by the age of 26 and brings strong experience to our facilities and maintenance operations.

Fun facts: Matthew enjoys script and treatment writing, working out, and option trading. He has written a movie treatment for Michael B. Jordan and plans to pursue production opportunities this year. His favorite foods include Mexican cuisine and funnel cake, and he cheers on the Philadelphia Eagles.

🎈🎈 Amee Schultz

Property Manager, Chalmette Properties

Amee joinsVPG as part of our Chalmette Properties acquisition, where she serves as the Property Manager. Amee is from the Chalmette area, where she has steadily grown in property management. She started at Riverview, one of the properties under the acquisition, in 2018 as an Assistant Manager and worked her way up to her current leadership role. Prior to real estate, she worked as a paralegal in insurance defense law.

Fun facts: Amee is a proud grandma who spends most of her time with her grandkids. She loves anything BBQ, enjoys gardening, manages a feral cat colony, and likes “acting like a tourist” in New Orleans. Her long-term goal is to buy a camper, travel to Niagara Falls, and then drive through Michigan during peak fall foliage and festival season.

🎈🎈 Dominique Handy

Assistant Property Manager, Chalmette Properties

Dominique joinsVPG as part of our Chalmette Properties acquisition, where she serves as the Property Manager. A New Orleans native, she brings great local energy to the team and a strong appreciation for community.

Fun facts: Dominique loves seafood, steaks, and chicken, and her favorite restaurants include Blue Crab and Cheesecake Factory. She is a fan of Popeyes and Chick-fil-A, cheers on the New Orleans Saints, and counts Christmas and Mardi Gras among her favorite holidays. Outside of work, she enjoys shopping online, going out, and taking trips.

🎈🎈 Sandra Rojas

Assistant Property Manager, Chalmette Properties

Sandra joins VPG as part of our Chalmette Properties acquisition, serving as the Property Manager. Originally from Managua, Nicaragua, Sandra brings valuable bilingual experience, having served as an English and Spanish liaison supporting residents and daily operations in multi-unit communities.

Fun facts: Sandra loves Chinese, Latin American, and Mediterranean food, enjoys reading, yoga, and traveling, and has already visited two of the Seven Wonders of the World: Machu Picchu and Christ the Redeemer. She plans to see the remaining five. She also used to be a welder!

🎈🎈 Lee Wilson Jr.

Maintenance Technician, Chalmette Properties

Lee joins VPG as part of our Chalmette Properties acquisition, serving as a Maintenance Technician. A Louisiana native, Lee brings strong field experience and a steady, dependable presence to our maintenance operations. He was recently recognized with the 2025 RPM maintenance award, highlighting his dedication and performance in the field.

Fun facts: Lee is a big fan of ribs and steaks and enjoys stopping by Texas Roadhouse or Popeyes. Christmas and Thanksgiving top his list of favorite holidays, and on Sundays you can likely find him cheering on the Saints. When he is not on the job, Lee enjoys spending time fishing and appreciating the outdoors.

🎈🎈 Farrell Crawford

Maintenance Technician, Chalmette Properties

Farrell joins VPG as part of our Chalmette Properties acquisition, serving as a Maintenance Technician. A Louisiana native, Farrell brings a positive attitude and hands-on experience to our maintenance operations, supporting the day-to-day needs of our residents and properties.

Fun facts: Farrell is a big fan of pizza and chips and enjoys stopping by local favorites when he can. He cheers on both the Saints and Tulane and enjoys spending his free time riding motorcycles. Farrell describes himself as friendly and easygoing!
